Rhymes and Word families

We have been busy learning about word families and words that rhyme.

Each week we learn a different word family. We are very clever at rhyming words and chanting them in different ways. Stomping, clapping, adding moves to them.

Ask us about the different word families we have been learning.

So far we covered 'og' --- log, hog, smog, fog, clog, frog, jog
'ig' --- fig, pig, twig, dig, wig, jig, big, zig
'ad' --- sad, bad, Dad, pad, glad, mad

We notice that some of the words begin with blends too.

Check out Annabelle, Ace and Isla's amazing work

It was a class effort

Connor has almost filled up all 3 columns

Lot's of concentration going on here.

Isla's work in progress

You go Karen! I can see you have used a blend in smog

Annabelle you are a star!! First to fill up all columns

 Nice effort James
