Onomatopoeia !!!

BANG, STOMP, WHAM, ROAR, DRIP, SLURP, BOOM, SSSSSS, ZAP, FLAP, WOOF, BOING!!

These are all different examples of onomatopoeia. 
We had a lot of fun learning about onomatopoeia. Make sure to ask your child what it means!!

Onomatopoeia is word that describes a sound, and it is amazing how often we read it in books or even say them when talking!



We wrote a sentence using our favourite onomatopoeia and did some art! Come and check them out in class!!
